Just a radom flame, nothing special.. except that I rendered this with Apophysis on Linux with WINE. - I find that pretty neat within itself. :D

only thing that bothers my eye a little is that it's not centered.

actually i didnt even notice which fractal you commented on until just now since moved pretty quickly earlier today. you're right that i could have centered this better, but i didnt even true create or even tweak this fractal. when i first got apophysis running on my linux pc this was the first thing that came out of it and i just submitted it exactly as is. didnt catch that detail til after ;)

i hate being restricted to having things centered and perfect all the time. i have to mix it up. not all my pieces have perfectly balanced symmetry in mind when created, as nature herself is not always perfectly equal all around.

It works alright. Most of the text on the dialog boxes for Apo dont seem to like displaying, but it renders fine. Though my linux pc can be rather slow and lacks the proper ram to really go nuts... especially when emulating. I downloaded WINE thru Gentoo's portage system, installed with no problem for me. Ever see IE6 on a Linux desktop? :lol:

No, its worse, too unstable. I hate IE.. but I got this script that installs ReactOS (Explorer) with optional IE6 and WMP. So I said what the hell, this would be funny.
