Meh.

Just not feelin' it anymore. Too many things going on to enjoy myself with art, or maybe just bored with the fractal thing, idk.

The last 5 years of life have been a struggle for me. It's like falling towards a black hole, just can't seem to escape it.

I'm probably going to leave dA again for a while and double down on what I need to do to improve quality of life.

I finally got some work recently with decent pay, but short contracts, not enough to dig out from bills and debt, but at least I can
scrape by for a bit.

Huzzah!

Looks like I got back into the fractal groove... at least for now.

I forgot how fun it was to explore, tweak, and render.
And the excitement of waiting to see how the render turns out.

Not to mention the fun of post-render work for many of them.
Although I try to keep that to a minimum on most works. :D

Updating just to update!

Whelp... here I am again.

I decided to pay for 3 months just so I could fix my journal theme. The image wasn't loading because I guess dA forces https now, so had to move the image elsewhere and viola!

As far as art though I haven't been doing much, so I don't yet know if this is a full comeback to dA.
I still need to sort out some job/life issues too. Money has been an issue and just getting by now.

Hopefully 2018 will be a lucky year for me after several years of hard luck, failures, and loved ones passing.

Let's see if I can muster up any inspiration for art... don't hold your breath, though.

Oh look, an update

I know, I know...

I always say I'll come back and actively submit art again. Well, I dunno about active, but I at least submitted something.

Just haven't been doing much art lately, some web design here and there. Also played around with some ANSI art
for the first time in many years. Not yet sure if that's something I'll get back into or not.

I'm still between IT jobs while the wife and I have been house hunting, as we're looking to get out of this apartment soon-ish, so that's been keeping me busy.

Maybe I can push myself to submit some more stuff.

Speaking of stuff, I still occasionally post things to dreamlathe.com
